PRIORITY: (A Focus on Designing Performance-based Assessment and Modeling Math)
Middle grades classroom teachers and specialists (Math, Coaches, Special ed, ESOL, GT and administrators) who support middle school math teachers (priority grades 6-8) DATES: Session 1: Summer institute: June 24-27(Mon-Thurs) 8:30-3:30pm Fall Follow-up: Sept. 16 (M), Oct. 21(M), Dec 2 (M) from 3:30-600pm and Session 2: Summer institute: July 29-Aug 1 (Mon-Thurs) 8:30-3:30pm Fall Follow-up: Sept. 16 (M), Oct. 21 (M), Dec 2 (M) from 3:30-600pm and LOCATION: GMU FAIRFAX Campus |
Teachers will participate in
Follow-up School-based Lesson Study in the Fall semester |
Benefits to the teacher participant in the program
- 3 graduate credits in Mathematics course work
